We live on a lake and I would like to take advantage of the water there by putting in outdoor water features. I thought maybe a fountain or waterfall would be some possible outdoor water features that I could do. We have a very steep slope and I don't know if that is a good thing for this or bad. I need outdoor water features that require little maintenance because I am lousy at the Mr. Fix it stuff. I can do a lot if I have some directions, but ask me to fix something, meaning having a general understanding how things work, turn, and move, and I am in big trouble. I need simple to operate outdoor water features.
There are many authorities out there on outdoor water features, but how do you know if they know what you are talking about? I need an ace on the subject. Does anyone know where I might get some free advice about the different types of outdoor water features I could have and offer advice in how to do it? If they want my to buy there stuff, I will, but if they merely suggest that I buy their stuff, it makes them seem more believable as an authority an not just a salesman trying to pay for his kids higher education.
